www.miamiherald.com/sports/colleges/um/story/519794.htmlCheck out the link above. It reports on Booker T's football coach accepting a job at UCG. Booker T. was supposed to be FIU's answer to UCG's pipeline of NWerstern recruits. It this a strategic coup for for UCG? What is the impact to FIU Football in future recruiting at Booker T?

Ummm I guess it means we need to find a new "pipeline".

I see no reason why we can't keep picking up players there. We have no idea who their new coach will be and what kind of relationship we may be able to develop with them.

But will the players there at BTW want to play under their old coach at UCG? I mean it is just unlikely that we could, now if we hit the recruiting trail hard and fast and place a lot of attention there maybe we can win the battle, but the key first is to win this year, and I mean more than one game, then we can worry about "pipelines".

Guys, also remember his star son on last year's team went to UM...along with his older son who runs (or ran) track at Coral Gables as well....that is one big reason he is over there now as well....
