• UM offered to play FAU in football in 2009 at Dolphin Stadium, but FAU athletic director Craig Angelos said it probably wouldn't happen because FAU needs a big guarantee, similar to the $900,000 it will get from Texas to play there next season. Angelos said 2010 is a possibility, but UM rejected FAU's request for a home-and-home series. www.miamiherald.com/606/story/341541.htmlfound it randomly..

fau plays at an on-campus temp stadium, crappier than the "Old" Cage. imagine the endzone seating we had (temporary), but the entire stadium is made of that.

My friends at UCF said that stole their design from their stadium..
Not from my mouth just quoting my friends.

I think that was the "original" sketch. The new one is a totally different design, with a horseshoe look, rather than the bowl look UCF has. That was the latest I read...

Actually their stadium sketch looks really nice. Ofcourse, so did the sketch of their dome :-) I'm guessing their artists are getting quite a work out trying to figure out what they are actually going to build.

i must say.. I wish we had a better fountain at FIU. The one by GC is okay but a HUGE one would be simply amazing.
