Congratulation to the OWLS!!! I'm happy for them - it's good for SoFla football. Now, it's FIU's turn to close the season with a win. Go Panthers.

Saw the game on CSS, the Trojans made a game of it at the end. Good luck to FAU as the represent the SBC in the New Orleans Bowl. Go Panthers!

I've never had a problem with their fans, but that is pretty classless, cheering the injury of a player. I also love the excuse..."oh, we are new to D1 football"...ahhh, you don't have to be an expert to realize that you NEVER cheer for the injury of another teams player. WEAK!

Wow, that's low, jeez those FAU fans ARE pretty bad.
Look what this one guys said:
"no doubt, most classless fans in the belt. First they booed our seniors as they were being honored on the field before the game, but cheering when Omar got hurt was the worst. This wasn't one or two bad apples like we all have, this was their entire set of fans. They made me absolutely sick, and will probably embarrass the belt in NO."
I hope they do get beat by Memphis now. Was kind of rooting for them but not now, ridiculous. Go Memphis!

You guys really really REALLY Suck, you know that.
No one has control over the fans that show up. Coach Schnellenberger or any other coach has no authority over them. Many of them were parents of the players. Many were students. Where they decided to go to college has no bearing on thier behavior. Coach Schnellenberger and the rest of the coaching staff have always had total control of the football team. Those guys never started a riot on the field like the FIU team did last year.
Some, most or all of your are just making excuses to "curse" the FAU team. You're jealous and don't like FAU. None of the players did anything wrong and you find it appropriate to use the fans behavior as an excuse to wish they lose.
No one is sure that any of those accusations on the Troy board have any merit. Troy is angry they lost to FAU. They weren't supposed to lose that game. So why not trash the victor to make you fell better. FIU should know something about that.

Some? most? You mean 1 person correct? Because except for Kevin, no one else wished fau lost. I don't, I rather see the SBC representative win. Whatever the reason, people NEVER cheer the injury of an opposing team player. And by the way, if you go to the Troy board, you have plenty of fau fans apologizing and some making excuses for their behavior, so it's pretty obvious that it occurred. By the way, good job generalizing what "most" of us said with the comment from 1 person. As I've said, that was pretty weak behavior by, as you've said "fau player parents, fau students, and fau fans." That's it.

But it does look like 2 posters have that wish, not just one. I appoligize for my generalization. I have read some of the explainations of BMarkey. There were some, not all, FAU fans that were loud and might have been a little too enthusiastic. Not to condone it but those things can and do happen at any football game to some extent, greater or lesser. We know how things work though. A few people can ruin it for everyone.

Well I don't really like FAU but I don't hate them either, so I'm happy for them that they pulled it out...not like we had ANY shot at it any way. It just shows you what a great coach can do with average talent. Let's hope MC can up his coaching and our talent and go down and do the same.

That is pretty classless, and I did saw some of that last game out. However, as I've put up countless times over there, I personally don't hate them, nor have an obsession with them, as some of their fans seem to have with FIU. Remember that hate comes back to haunt you...
Good luck to FAU...I hope they represent all of us solidly, both on the field...and PLEASE... at the stands with class.
