Good news! I hope she brings more positive publicity and exposure to not only here in South Florida but all over the country.
I was wondering though, lately, we've been hiring a lot of new staff for obviously the new College of Medicine but for most of our major sports, a new AD, many research fields, and all of them to be considered "extremely well-experienced" and highly-regarded. My question is, how much money exactly is the administration paying to get all these top candidates? I'm assuming we're paying millions to get them, but I mean it's all good for the university I guess, GO FIU!!
