Well, FIU just posted another increase in its NIH funding (National Institute of Health) grants, as new figures were released. FIU is 3rd in Florida Public Universities right now with $14.08 million, behind UF (which is in a class by itself in Florida) and USF. Amazing how FIU, without a Med School yet, is ahead of FSU, and so far ahead of UCF and FAU at the moment. FIU also leads all of the Sun Belt in NIH funding as well, with only UNT close on our lead.
Great job by the administration...Keep it up as great things are in store academically...and athletically for FIU!!
