CAL TOURNAMENT
Is in the books as the Volleyball team wins their first game in the Cal tournament with a 3-2 win over Northeastern. They play Idaho and #12 Cal today to close out the tournament.
MIZZOU TOURNAMENT
The ladies go 1-1 to bring their overall record to 3-2, defeating host Missouri and losing to Notre Dame. Both games were pretty suspenceful, we should have had the ND game, but let it get away.
STETSON TOURNAMENT
The ladies go 2-0 to bring their overall record to 5-2, defeating host Stetson and Oral Roberts. The ladies had not problems with either teams this weekend as they prepare to begin SBC play in 2 weeks. MTSU is still 9-0 and they will be tough to beat this year, however, the girls are tough...Go F I U!
SBC OPENING WEEKEND The lady Panthers sweep through Louisiana and defeat ULM (3-0), UNO (3-1), and ULL (3-0). They move their overall record to 8-2 (3-0).
HOME OPENERS For home openers, the Panthers do not disappoint, as they beat Troy University (3-1) and defeat the the South Alabama Jaguars (3-0) to remain unbeaten in SBC play and 10-2 (5-0).
vs. FAU The Lady Panthers beat its in-state neighbors to the north (3-0). The Panthers stay unbeaten in SBC play as they move into the toughest part of the schedule vs. SBC West favorites DU and UNT and SBC East favorites MTSU and WKU.

We got a great volleyball team...they need our support. They're really exciting to watch and looking forward to attending some games. Let's support them. We've an all-American that's awesome. She could have gone to any big time volleyball program and chose FIU.
