According to Pete's recent blog here are the possible candidates. UM's pitching coach J.D. Arteaga's UM's Recruiting Coordinator/Hitting Coach Gino DiMare Arizona State's hitting coach Turtle Thomas. I like Arteaga for manifold reasons. He's local, he's a Pitching coach, he has contacts; local and otherwise and...oh yeah... our gain would be their loss.

I've read that even Tennessee's coach, Delmonico may have some (or a lot) of interest in FIU's job...Pretty interesting. I would suspect a LOT of people will be interested in this job, throughout the nation...as some might see the newly put emphasis on a winning tradition for all FIU sports....

Flanagan is my alma mater, the baseball team has won 3 state championships in a row. i remember they stopped our graduation to tell us when the news came out lol. so yeah im partial but im sure they're all great guys
