Great win for the guys and amazingly a wonderful performance by the bullpen (Chris Siebenaler and Evan Ellison) pitched three perfect innnings....good job by everyone and Chris Dunn is fast as hell...3 SB's, 3 hits and scored the winning run from second after stealing third and scoring on a passed ball in one sequence.

Great win against one of the better teams in the belt: www.miamiherald.com/601/story/89801.htmlDunn steals win for FIU baseball Chris Dunn stole second and third and scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the seventh inning to help Florida International come away with an 8-7 victory against visiting New Orleans on Friday night. With two outs and the score tied at 7 in the bottom of the seventh, Dunn hit his third single of the game. He stole second with Bryan Pullin at the plate and was going toward third when Stephen Whalen's pitch got past catcher Josh Turnow, which allowed Dunn to round third base for the winning score. Dunn, a senior center fielder, finished 3 for 4 with three runs scored and tied a season high with three stolen bases. Pullin extended his hitting streak to 17 games with a three-run double in the third inning and James McOwen went 2 for 3 with two RBI. Chris Siebenaler and Evan Ellison added three innings of perfect relief for the Golden Panthers (21-21, 8-10 Sun Belt). Whalen took the loss for the Privateers (28-14, 12-7). He allowed one unearned run with four strikeouts and a walk in 2 2/3 innings.

You are the eternal optimist. We won 13-4, by the way. Good work. Sweeping UNO would be a HUGE accomplishment in an otherwise dismal season.
