Pullin sets record in FIU win
From Miami Herald Wire Services
Walker Whitley (2-3) pitched a complete game and third baseman Bryan Pullin set a school record in bases to lead the Golden Panthers (20-21, 7-10 Sun Belt) past host UALR (16-23, 5-12) 7-1 on Sunday.
Whitley (2-3) allowed one unearned, scattered seven hits and struck out three with two walks.
Pullin hit his team-leading seventh home run of the year in the third inning to become the school's all-time total bases leader. He added a double and single later in the game to run his career total to 380.
Pullin went 3 for 4 with three RBI to pass Jeff Rodriguez's (1996-99) previous record of 376
