DENVER (AP) -- DaShawn Walker scored 25 points and Joe Jackson added 21 points as Denver beat Florida Atlantic 90-to-85 tonight.
Jackson scored ten of his points in the final five minutes, including a pair of free throws with 25 seconds remaining to seal the win.
Florida Atlantic led by eight points with ten minutes left in the game, but Denver came back and took the lead for good on a jumper by Jackson with four minutes remaining.
Carlos Monroe led the Owls with 23 points and 15 rebounds, while DeAndre Rice added 22 points, including 15 from 3-point range.
Florida Atlantic head coach Rex Walters was ejected with 12:44 remaining in the first half after receiving his second foul.
