I must welcome myself to the deadest forum in college sports. Many of you know that there is a game today in Little Rock??? There will be a web cast at www.ualrtrojans.com/I ain't even going to waste my time giving the usual run down other than to say Coach Fricke is coming home and I hope UALR can beat him. Kevin is a great guy and hope many of you have gotten to meet him. If you feel the need to read about the Trojans drop by www.littlerocktrojans.comThere seems to be a little school pride on the board over the game with UM. If that is the only team that can get 5 posters on the board from a school that has 38,000 students, then thank God my degree is not from the waste land of a school. I thought UTA and UNT had small followings for the enrollment size.

"Welcome" to our board. Your choice of words in your very first post here speaks volume for the quality you could bring here, and the lack of quality UALR instills in its students. You are a disgrace......talk about dumb...

What is competing for the population's interest in South Florida:
beaches film 4 major sports (MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA) beautiful people other major media market attractions
What is competing for the population's interest in Little Rock:
glue sniffing cow tipping blogging on the local college's sports website
i'm pleased to learn that your UALR sports blog has giving you a more engaging outlet for your free time. i suppose it beats glue sniffing.
as for south Florida, we'll blog when we can and when we want to.
formed1, the comparison above is based on fact. you can respond with the ignorace i expect from you but the fact remains unchallenged. it's a shame because i suspect there are a few good folks at UALR that have enough sense to not come onto our FIU board and sling mud. Shame on you.
looking fwd to your weak response. it should be entertaining. i'll check out your response when i get back from the world renowned South Beach.

UM huh...
that could be:
the University of Michigan the University of Maryland the University of Minnesota
however, based on the ignorant nature of FIU hater-ade poison being spewed, I'm guessing that it's our very own
the University of Miami
figures...gpantera

I see all 5 posters have now replied, so I will give you the quick scouting report from Little Rock, AR home of the former President Clinton and future president Mrs Clinton or Mike Huckabee. Also, home of Wal-Mart (AR company) where you bought your chicken from then Tyson (AR company) foods delivered it to your local Wal-Mart on a JB Hunt trunk (AR company) so get off of you Alltel cell phone (10,000 employees in Little Rock) and get ready for some basketball 8pm east coast time.
UALR will press about 20 minutes a game (call it 20 minutes of purgatory instead of 40 minutes of hell). UALR’s offense is basic motion and is not star driven. Balanced scoring is what wins games for UALR.
UALR will start:
6’7” pg from Ole Miss 6’1” sg set shooter 6’5” sf 6’7” pf that can shoot the 3 6’8” c 280lbs monster in the post from Ole Miss
The Bench is the starters from last year for the most part.
Anyway, good luck and remember when you go in to work on Monday not to bore your UM graduate bosses with your stories of FIU sports. The Lords of the manor don’t care what the peasants do in their spare time.

UM grads fly back north to work for their families business for the most part. none could really earn a living without their families backing and the only reason the went to college is b/c there's plenty of private schools that will give you their degree in exchange for big dollars (see UM) - the few that stay locally usually work a few jobs to keep up with student loan payments...visting FIU blogs to escape their pitiful reality.
i have to write an annual peformance review for one of my staffers on Monday (a UM grad) - you've just agitated my anti UM bias and therefore screwed your fellow alum. way to work that mighty UM network jerky.
your insults bore more. i've heard better UM chest thumping from cane fans in the hood who couldn't point out Coral Gables on a map. next....
