Well, I guess by now everyone has heard about the raunchy UM football teams rap song. You know the one that was scooped by a blogger and picked-up on ESPN and then by everyone else in the world. Seems that poor guy has been kicked out of school for airing UM's 'dirty little secret' ( www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/13243181.htm ). Haven't heard much about football players being suspended however. Funny, you can rant and rave about the ho's at the U that come up on the 7th floor but you let the people know about what's going on over there and you get the screws. Wonder how our hypocrite friends over the Herald will editorialize this one. Will they do the right thing and support freedom of speech and support a possible lawsuit or will they support the U and trash the kid for leaking the song. Any guesses?

Blogger at UM kicked out of campus housing
BY NICHOLAS SPANGLER
nspangler@herald.com
Administrators at the University of Miami ordered the student who blogged a raunchy rap song recorded by members of the football team to leave campus housing for the remainder of the semester.
The order for student Kyle Munzenrieder came in a hand-delivered letter on Monday afternoon from UM Dean of Students William Sandler, Jr.
Munzenrieder was told he had to turn in his room key and vacate his room by 5 p.m.
Sandler, through a spokesman, declined comment.
The chain of events leading to Munzenrieder getting booted out of campus housing began last week when he blogged a nine-minute song -- featuring current UM football players -- on the Internet.
Munzenrieder's blog, which included a link to the song, got picked up by ESPN.com. The rap song included several males describing lewd sexual acts in detail, including group sex references.
The group called itself ''The Seventh Floor Crew,'' referring to team members who lived in Mahoney Residential College (campus housing), according to Munzenrieder's blog.
