The release now says it's 24 commitments, since they added the 4th Booker T. Washington player to receive a scholarship, Franklin Brown. Brown, a 6-2/190 Safety, chose FIU over offers from FAU and UMass to join his teammates in choosing the Panthers. He was a 2nd Team All Miami Dade County player as a Linebacker. Link

Milhomme Jean-Charles was committed to FIU, but decided not to sign today. He has not signed with any other school, but I doubt that Cristobal will wait for him as his schollie can be quickly given to someone else. We'll see what happens

Hardwood or Fanatic if you are awake...... on rivals i see that they have Frank Brown as not signed LOI but it is said that he signed. IS Rivals out of the loop?

Well, FIU's Athletic Website now includes Franklin Brown as part of our signing class, as well as stories in The Herald, and the editor of the fiu rivals site....So, yes, they should add him...

Sun Sentinel reports that class 1A first team All County in Palm Beach player, offensive lineman Chris Nasiff, was invited to form part of FIU's team as a "preferred walkon". The 6-3/245 player from American Heritage in Delray Beach, was also named a 1st Team All State player this year in class 1A, and High School teammate of FIU signee and fellow Offensive Lineman, Stephen Bailey... If he enrolls at FIU, this gives us yet another All State player to join this year's recruiting crop of players... Sun Sentinel Article All State Players

Nasiff will have to put on about 60 lbs if he wants to be a D-1 lineman....

depends on what hell be playing on the OL.... you need more quickness as a pulling guard, but as a blindside tackle you need more size.
