Thread on Any Given Saturday about McNeese Fans coming to Miami with some comments about FIU stadium. If you are going to post on this I-AA football site take the high road and invite them to party with you when they come down. It's fun to go to away games and party with friends and students from the opposing school. Has anyone seen the FIU schedule / poster for 2004. Here is the 2004 McNeese schedule / poster. Hope ours uses a larger font so that it can be read more easily when in storefront windows. Note: Every one of their (5) home games begin at 7:00 pm I would like to see all our games scheduled for that time also. As the fan base increases, tailgating and pre-game partying will increase - which will mean more disposable income being spent at FIU. Travel to and from the games will be easier as people expect to be out late Saturday night. People could sleep late Sat morning and still get to the games on time Mike

That board has mostly bashed FIU and FAU for moving up to I-A football so soon. I'm not surprised to see a thread like that. Anyways, I know there are some cool people there so I posted to set the record straight. I'm in Atlanta, Georgia right now and i've seen some Georgia Southern T-shirts here and there. Looking forward to getting back and finally having football season start.

Yeah our stadium has taken a beating on several of our opponents messageboards. Hopefully after the games they will be writing about their team got their ass kicked at a "high school" stadium.

That would be the ideal way to welcome them to our home ;D I know our stadium isn't beautiful but it's much more than many schools have. With that stadium already on campus it makes building a larger one MUCH easier.
