Does anyone know why the track and field teams dont compete in the Biscayne Bay campus. I use to have classes there, and noticed that the track/football field was really nice. Even the surroundings were nice to look at. It would be an option once the track is removed for the expanding football stadium.

I believe that field belongs to NMB not FIU.

it's because almost all of Athletics is based in UP. the stadium is used by FIU for some football stuff (rarely) and turnout has been so bad for anything there, there was no reason to move an entire athletic program up there.
also, since everything is already established down here, what would be the sense in making everyone (athletes included) and everything move up there.
