Putting the game away, with not much time left. The game was never much in doubt, but we still saw this team's achille's heal. They don't have a PG, Redd White should not be trying to break the press (he's wild), Tremayne Russel might be able to do it but he makes some dumb mistakes. If Rouco is around next year, he will have the benefit of Soto which should be an upgrade over any of the PG's this year.

Very good assessment, fiupantherfan...Good sweep of the ugly little birdies tonight. With the win tonight, FIU men's team has a 12-8 advantage in the history of this series...while the women are a whopping 21-1 against them. A much-needed conference win by our team tonight, as we need to step up and win every home conference game....
Congrats to the team!!

Good win against a conference opponent. Here is the Herald story: www.miamiherald.com/sports/colleges/fiu/story/368877.htmlCan someone coach Rouco on how to speak with the media? I just don't get why he words his thoughts like this: ''You're tired of getting smacked,'' said FIU coach Sergio Rouco, whose team snapped a six-game losing streak. ``You go to the lunchroom and the big bully is not there and you look across and the kid is a little bit shorter than you then you go to the cafeteria every day. . . . We saw a chance of a team that is our level. This is what we are at right now and the kids responded to our level.''
